The New Members Ministry exists to connect individuals and families who are new to Triumph with other members and ministries. It is our hope that as we LOVE God we will grow together, serve others, and share hope in our community. As a new member we encourage you to attend our New Member Classes. We also hope you will quickly find a place to serve and be actively involved in our church family.
Our focus is to assist, through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, the relationship our new members can and will develop, with Christ. We believe that God's plan for each believer can only be revealed when we develop the tools necessary to recognize and understand what God is saying to us through his Word. We promote and encourage the continued emphasis on reading and studying God's Word. This will nurture each person's relationship with our Lord and Savior, as they grow in Christ
Things you need to know about New Membership
The New membership class Information gives new people an idea of the basics of our church: staff, worship style, ministry philosophy. The explaining of our Doctrine lets people know upfront what you believe. You can no longer assume people understand denominational differences. Additionally, churches within the same denomination in the same town can be quite different now. We don't want to surprise people. We don’t downplay our doctrine or confuse people. We try to be very clear about what we believe and who we are.
We believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old Testament and New Testament are the inerrant, inspired and infallible Word of God. God’s Word is the final authority for faith and life.
We believe there is only one God. God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
We believe man was created in the image of God.
The purpose of any new member orientation class is to acquaint our new members to both the organization and each other. Knowing the ins-and-outs of the groups we have is only one aspect of being in an organization. It is important to remember that people join groups for many reasons: they want to get involved, learn new skills, make friends and have a good time. For this reason it is important to structure time for the members to get to know each other and to develop personal relationships and commitments.
We Also want to know more about you and your family. We care about whats going on in your life so it's important for us to let you know what our ministry have to offer her at Triumph The church And Kingdom Of God In Christ. We have various groups that are available if you choose to join them.
